Typically these range from quality of sound variations to estimated number of pages based on variable text font, size and spacing. Service costs therefore can, and often do, vary from the time of quotation to the final cost based on these variables. The client is therefore often left uncertain about the final cost until the job is complete.

Our pricing is based on:
1. Turnaround time.
2. Number of speakers.
And should the client have any specific requirements:

Our pricing is carefully balanced between quality and affordability. Our client rates vary from as little as US$1.55 upwards per audio minute. We also offer Preferential (loyal clients) and Service Provider (volume) rates.
Many so-called transcription services offer "cheap" prices by outsourcing work to countries in Asia, the Philippines and even some East European States such as Romania. The savings on cost can be significant but the quality of transcription is often poor and even unreadable, especially in the case of specialist subjects.
Way With Words contracts its own high-calibre transcribers whose first-language is English. Our transcribers are recruited through one of the most comprehensive transcription assessment and training programmes worldwide. Only up to 4% of all our applicants are eventually employed by us. Successful Way With Words transcribers are also required to undergo a further 6 months probation period, after which they may be offered full employment and ccontracting by the company.
